DASHH - a new graduate school in Hamburg is launched. DASHH stands for 'Data Science in Hamburg - Helmholtz Graduate School for the Structure of Matter' und deals with exciting computer science problems in natural sciences. In total 14 interdisciplinary projects will be initiated and are waiting for your application: www.dashh.org.
As part of the digitalization strategy of the Helmholtz Association five graduate schools in the area of Data Science will be established. The consortium from Hamburg under participation of DESY, the Universität Hamburg, the Hamburg University of Technology, and five further research institutions applied successfully for the establishment of a graduate school in Data Science. DASHH - Data Science in Hamburg - Helmholtz Graduate School for the Structure of Matter' deals with the challenges of digitalization in the context of structure research. The spokespersons aof DASHH are Matthias Rarey (Zentrum für Bioinformatik, FB Informatik), Nina Rohringer (DESY) and Sabine Le Borne (TUHH).
