GCB 2023 in Hamburg

We are pleased to announce that DECHEMA and Universität Hamburg will host the German Conference on Bioinformatics (GCB) 2023 on the DESY Campus in Hamburg-Bahrenfeld from 12. – 14. September (https://gcb2023.de). The GCB is an annual, international conference devoted to all areas of bioinformatics. It serves as a platform for the whole bioinformatics community and approximately 250 national and international delegates are expected to attend.
Keynote speakers will include Joseph Loscalzo (Harvard University, USA), Natasa Przulj (Barcelona Supercomputing Center, Spain) and Maya Topf (Leibniz Institute of Virology/University Medical Center Hamburg-Eppendorf, Germany). Junior keynote speakers will be Olga Tsoy (Universität Hamburg, Germany) and Nadine Töpfer (Universität zu Köln, Germany). In addition to talks and poster sessions, ample networking opportunities including a networking dinner and an exhibition to connect with industry representatives will be provided. Immediately preceding the conference will be workshops dedicated to cutting edge bioinformatics topics.
Invitations to submit contributed talks and poster abstracts, as well as workshop proposals, will be published by March 2023.
