New Paper: SmartChemist Simplifying Communication About Organic Chemical Structures

We are excited to announce the publication of SmartChemist, an innovative web tool designed to enhance communication about organic chemical structures. SmartChemist allows users to upload molecules or enter SMILES strings to identify and highlight various substructures, including functional groups, cyclic systems, and biologically relevant molecules. Featuring an extensive database of over 40,000 patterns, the tool aims to simplify interdisciplinary collaboration and improve clarity in chemical discussions. SmartChemist is freely available online at https://chemist.smarts.plus and is open-source, encouraging continuous improvement and community feedback.
