Dec. 8th, 2025: Fabian gives his official debut lecture in the Department of Informatics with a Christmas flair at 5:15 p.m. on the Stellingen campus.

Oct. 15th, 2025: Our four-person student team successfully secured funding through the “Student Research Groups” support program within the framework of the UHH Excellence Strategy. Their interdisciplinary project proposal "The Virtual Cell: Integrative Modeling of Biomolecular Processes Using Machine Learning and Domain Knowledge," was selected for funding. The team will now receive one year of financial support and close scientific supervision from the MLBI research group. The students are from the MIN Faculty and the Faculty of Medicine at UHH.

Oct. 10th, 2025: We're joining in the celebrations! Fabian is contributing to the 20th anniversary of the MIN Faculty at the University of Hamburg with a symposium talk.

Oct. 10th, 2025:  The group presents itself during the orientation session for the Master's program in Bioinformatics at the ZBH in the winter semester 2025/26.

Oct. 8th, 2025: Fabian gives a talk at "The 3rd MOPRED Symposium 2025" hosted by the Goethe University Hospital in Frankfurt.

Oct. 6th, 2025: The group presents itself during the "Vorstellung der Arbeitsbereiche" as part of the Master-Orientierungseinheit of the Department of Informatics in the winter semester 2025/26.

Sept. 22nd, 2025: The group participates with a poster at the German Conference on Bioinformatics (GCB) 2025 in Düsseldorf.

Sept. 10th, 2025: Fabian speaks as a keynote speaker at the bAIome Mini-Symposium "Next-gen biomedical AI: new developments & applications" at the University Medical Center Hamburg-Eppendorf (UKE).

5. Aug. 2025: Fabian is elected as a member to the MIN Faculty Council, representing the department for informatics from 01.10.2025 until 30.09.2027.

July 16th, 2025: Fabian gave a talk at the graduation ceremony of Department of Informatics at the University of Hamburg: "Informatik, Gesellschaft & Ich: Wie Daten unser Leben nachhaltig beeinflussen".

July 3rd, 2025: Annika is accepted into the NextBIG eHealth Career Development Program.

June 1st, 2025: Annika joins the group as a researcher.

April 1st, 2025: Fabian joins the University of Hamburg as a Professor of Machine Learning in Bioinformatics (MLBI).
