Prediction of protein mutation effects based on dehydration and hydrogen bonding – A large-scale study
9. Mai 2017
In this publication, mutational effects in protein complexes are predicted using the HYDE scoring function. Additionally, an extensive evaluation procedure - remutation, cross-mutations, and protein stability predictions - is presented including a freely available data set to perform these analysis. Compared to other existing methods, HYDE_protein is not trained on experimental mutational data, but relies on a physics-based concept. Therefore, HYDE_protein provides a deeper insight into the biophysical basis of protein stability. For more information see http://onlinelibrary.wiley.com/doi/10.1002/prot.25315/full.
